InVEST is a suite of models used to map and value the goods and services from nature that sustain and fulfill human life. Designed to support decision-makers, InVEST models help explore how changes in ecosystems can lead to changes in the flows of ecosystem services, which can then inform management strategies for sustainable use of natural resources. The tool is developed by the Natural Capital Project and is widely used for ecosystem service assessment and spatial planning.
